LORECA Meta-Network: What is the Meta-Network?

LORECA operates a growing Meta-Network made up 400 networks and individual agencies across London. The Meta-Network is a forum for all organisations that have an interest in supporting refugees into employment, training, and enterprise (ETE). Members can share best practice and develop practical solutions to remove the barriers that refugees face in entering the labour market.

The Meta-Network seeks to link into existing London refugee networks whilst at the same time allowing individual organisations the option to link directly with LORECA. Therefore it has two streams:

  • Network Stream – in this instance LORECA and an existing network sign a ‘Letter of Agreement’ to formalise their agreement to work and consult on refugee employability issues.
  • Agency Stream – this stream is open to individual agencies that directly link to LORECA in order to join in LORECA’s work and be consulted on refugee employability issues.

LORECA Meta-Network members act as a voice for London’s refugee community on ETE issues. The Meta-Network is open to any organisation or network that has an interest in supporting refugees in these areas.

Benefits of Joining

  • Access to members-only directory, which fosters the sharing of best-practice and joined-up working within the sector
  • Invitations to LORECA networking events.
  • Participation in strategic and policy consultations
