LORECA periodically holds events aimed at raising the profile of refugee employability issues in London. These events are designed to bring together practitioners and decision makers from government, industry, and the voluntary sector. London Enriched: Learning and Action for Refugee Employment, Training and Enterprise consultation event

In October 2007 LORECA, with three Equal funded partnerships: EASI, PRESTO and RAISE, co-sponsored this consultation event designed to feed into ‘London Enriched’ the Mayor’s Draft Strategy for Refugee Integration, which sets out a programme of action that will help towards greater equality of opportunity for London’s refugees. The conference focused on issues of employment, training and enterprise and views fed into LORECA’s stakeholder response (396 KB) to the draft strategy.
