LORECA is based as a discrete unit within the LDA's Equality and Diversity Team. As the LDA has mainstreamed equalities throughout its operations this positioning allows refugee and asylum issues to likewise be mainstreamed within the economic regeneration of London.
The LDA’s management of LORECA aims to maintain strong engagement with the refugee sector and LORECA’s position as the ‘link’ body between the Mayor of London’s Board for Refugee Integration in London and those working to support refugees into employment, training and enterprise.
The LORECA Advisory Panel was set up to ensure LORECA retains a strong input from experts on refugee employment, training and enterprise matters. The LORECA Meta-Network is comprised of refugee networks and a range of organisations with an interest in refugee employability.
